September 28th, 2024 -The author and her co-worker Bernie, two bartenders who are referred to as the Dream Team, have set out to raise funds for the organization created by the Royal Canadian Legion :
Operation - Leave the Streets Behind. This organization helps Veterans of all ages who are homeless or at the risk of being homeless. Financial, medical and many more services are available for Veterans and their families. |

September 2021 - a new version of the sensational SHE IS video has been edited and re-released with a new narrative to continue to bring awareness of Domestic Violence and the need to help raise funds for Women's Shelters in every community.
Author Julie Steeves Benson and Docs of the Bay videographer Reg Sheffield have worked tirelessly to advocate for women globally. The author stresses that domestic violence does not discriminate - ALL women need your support during these trying times. Please support your local Women's Shelter. |
